Robert Forge trained as an actor and has worked extensively on Shakespeare, even traveling to Russia to play Romeo in Romeo & Juliet (partly in Russian). While there, he recorded his first audio book (Animal Farm) for a branch of the University of St. Petersburg. Since then, he has recorded the Girls Wearing Black series by Spencer Baum, and The Watcher by Jo Robertson.  He is also featured in the animated web series, Little Orphan Laboratory.

He earned his MFA from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and his BFA in Theatre/Television from Texas Christian University. He has trained with Paul Ruben, Paul Liberti, Louis Colaianni (voice and dialects) and Margaret Loft (voice and text). As an actor, he has worked for the Great River Shakespeare Festival, the George Street Playhouse, the Heart of America Shakespeare Festival, and Creede Repertory Theater.

He enjoys experimenting with voice and creates multimedia projects in his home studio. He lives in the New York area with his wife, dogs and bunnies.
